Allow me to introduce you to, Taittinger. She was so kind, along her sibling Piper, and her human family to let me photograph her vibrant home in Metro Atlanta. I never saw Piper during my visit who I can only assume was napping in a sunny spot. Homeowners, Tia and Chuck, came to Top Floors Carpet One with a vision of how they wanted their home to look and feel. As an artist herself, Tia, has impeccable taste with an eye for style and anyone who has the pleasure of visiting their home will agree.
Having lived in Florida, where tile throughout a home is common, Tia and Chuck selected a natural stone look porcelain tile for their main level.
In the living room, a similar style rug was chosen as to not take away from the beauty and natural flowing feel of the tile floors. Tia says that often she sees a striation in the tile that seemingly continues onto the rug and vice versa.
Eurasia is the name of this glazed porcelain by Emser Tile. The warm and cool tones as well as the versatility of the tile takes you from the living room, through the dining room, into the kitchen and right outside to the side patio.
A bold patterned stair runner leads you upstairs to the bedrooms and office. Gander is the name of this Kane Carpet which was manufactured in Belgium and took a slow boat to get to the states but it was worth the wait once it arrived.
Tia and Chuck opted for a natural cork floor by US Floors in color Salon Dulsa for their second level. This product is natural, contemporary, and just plain cool.
Thank you for exploring this gorgeously styled home, but it seems that Taittinger is ready for her nap.
